Facilities / Logistics Coordinator
Tampa, FL (On-Site) | 6-Month Contract
Cherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a Facilities / Logistics Coordinator for a six-month on-site contract opportunity in Tampa, Florida. This role is ideal for a logistics professional with experience supporting warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory management, facilities coordination, and material accountability in a technical or government contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate facilities maintenance and repair requests.
  • Manage shipping, receiving, inventory tracking, and material handling activities.
  • Maintain accountability and chain of custody for company and customer-owned equipment.
  • Support warehouse operations, including storage, organization, and inventory control.
  • Track equipment through receipt, deployment, repair, and return processes.
  • Coordinate logistics support with field service teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records, barcode tracking, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with RMA processing, inventory reporting, and equipment availability reporting.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Material Handling, Trade Compliance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse, inventory, or materials management role.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and facilities support.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting military, telecommunications, technical equipment, or government contracting environments preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and logistics/materials management systems.
  • Familiarity with Costpoint, Salesforce, Visio, or similar systems is a plus.

Preferred Background
Successful candidates may come from logistics, warehouse operations, facilities coordination, defense contracting, military support, telecommunications infrastructure, or technical field services environments.
