We are seeking a hands-on Logistics Manager to oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, and transportation coordination for a growing manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution and is passionate about creating efficient processes that support production and customer satisfaction.

Manage daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, carriers, and delivery schedules
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Develop and maintain efficient inventory control processes, including FIFO practices
  • Work closely with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to support operational needs
  • Track key logistics metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
  • Lead and develop warehouse and logistics personnel
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and transportation issues
