Job description

Description: NSI requires a Senior Logistics Manager (Configuration Management) to support the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Program Office. The Logistics Manager will perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of systems supportability and maintainability programs and information systems. Provide configuration management for software, including releases/upgrades. Candidate must have configuration management experience and be very familiar with avionics/test equipment software. Must be able to identify and track software changes in the fleet. Have a working knowledge of test equipment and support of test equipment. Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, and applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information. Must have a thorough knowledge of the 4790 (Naval Aviation Maintenance Program) and the NAVAIRINST 4130.1 Configuration Management Policy. Desired Logistics Support Requirements:
โ€ข Minimum of four years of experience analyzing logistics and maintenance in the performance of maintenance planning across the full spectrum of lifecycle planning; design interface, maintenance planning, and sustainment engineering.
โ€ข Must have experience in NAVAIR configuration management, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Directives (TDs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Software Changes (ASC, ASB, SSC, SSB, etc.). โ€ข Data analytics using Microsoft suite tools
โ€ข Proficiency in Excel using VBA/advanced formulas and Word macros, experience with detailed research and data mining, problem-solving by "following the data"
โ€ข Familiarity with LSA, LPD, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and other Supportability Analyses
โ€ข Experience using NAVAIR technical publications
โ€ข Decipher the logistics involved concerning Technical Engineering Instructions (TEIs).
โ€ข Experience in Maintenance Planning, logistics support/supportability analysis
โ€ข Extensive knowledge of the Navy/Marine Corps supply systems.
โ€ข Demonstrated effective oral and written communication Location: Jacksonville, FL Education: BS or BA degree or 4 years of direct experience (see below) Experience: Four (4) years of DoD acquisition logistics experience in conducting configuration management for a suite of test equipment or avionic software. Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.
