Role Description The Logistics Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL, responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations for tropical produce across North America. This role coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, manages transportation partners, and ensures on-time delivery while maintaining product quality and traceability standards. The Logistics Manager monitors inventory levels, aligns warehouse activities with demand, and collaborates with procurement to support reliable supply. This position also handles documentation and compliance for domestic and international freight, including temperature-controlled shipments. The Logistics Manager works closely with customer service, sales, and operations teams to resolve delivery issues, optimize costs, and maintain clear, proactive communication with partners.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management to oversee end-to-end movement of goods.
  • Strong Inventory Management skills to maintain accurate stock levels and support continuous product availability.
  • Experience in Procurement and vendor coordination to secure transportation and related services efficiently.
  • Customer Service skills to manage partner expectations, address delivery concerns, and support long-term relationships.
  • Knowledge of cold chain logistics, perishable goods handling, and transportation regulations (domestic and international).
  • Proficiency with logistics and inventory software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP) and intermediate Excel skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across operations, sales, and supplier teams.
  • Previous experience in produce, food distribution, or related industries is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
