The Logistics Manager is a leadership role responsible for the long-term design, performance, and evolution of the organizationโ€™s distribution and logistics capabilities. This role owns the end-to-end distribution operating model and ensures that people, processes, systems, and infrastructure are aligned to support the organizationโ€™s mission, growth strategy, and service commitments.


This role exists to ensure distribution is not simply operationally effective today but structurally prepared for the future. The Logistics Manager provides strategic leadership while maintaining operational credibility, ensuring distribution functions as a scalable, reliable, and continuously improving enterprise capability.

The Impact You Will Drive

Success in this role is defined by lasting capabilities and organizational strength. You will:

  • Support business growth through a redesign of the distribution operating model to modernize warehouse processes, layouts, and automation to enable scalability, reliability, and efficiency โ€”including evaluation and implementation of new material handling and conveyor solutions.
  • Position distribution operations as a strategic business capability through strong service performance, cost discipline, and operational insight, establishing a clear, data-driven performance management framework for distribution operations (service, cost, quality, and productivity).
  • Develop frameworks for continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and performance management through meaningful KPIs and operating rhythms.

Core Areas of Responsibility

Distribution Leadership & Strategy

  • Own overall distribution and logistics performance across shipping, returns, warehouse operations, and supporting functions ensuring consistent service, safety, quality, and efficiency of the order fulfilment life cycle
  • Provide clear direction, accountability, and leadership for distribution operations
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Vice President of Operations and key stakeholders across the organization, contributing to enterprise-level operational planning and decision-making
  • Represent distribution in cross-functional initiatives and organizational planning
  • Design, evolve, and govern the distribution operating model to support long-term scalability and reliability
  • Ensure warehouse layouts, material handling approaches, and workflows are fit for purpose and adaptable over time
  • Guide the effective use and evolution of distribution technologies, including warehouse management and shipping systems
  • Establish standards, processes, and governance that ensure consistency, clarity, and operational discipline

Continuous Improvement & Performance Management

  • Maintain a data-driven performance management approach across distribution operations, establishing and monitoring KPIs for throughput, cost, service levels, labor productivity, and quality
  • Leverage data, analytics, and WMS/TMS technology to identify opportunities, risks, and constraints affecting service, cost, and throughput
  • Champion continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving disciplines through identification and prioritization of improvement initiatives based on business impact and organizational readiness
  • Ensure distribution performance is transparent, measurable, and aligned with enterprise objectives

People & Culture Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing distribution operations at all levels
  • Build leadership capability and succession depth within the distribution function
  • Foster a culture of engagement, ownership, safety, and operational excellence
  • Lead change with empathy, clarity, and strong emotional intelligence

Experience & Capabilities

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in supply chain management, engineering, operations, business, or related field required; masterโ€™s degree preferred.
  • Meaningful leadership experience in distribution, logistics, warehouse operations, or related operational environments. Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, engineering, order fulfillment, supply chain, or related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of WMS/TMS distribution systems and analytics tools, material handling, and operational technologies, with a demonstrated ability to design, evolve, and lead complex operating models.
  • Proven success leading through change, complexity, and ambiguity, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational credibility
  • Personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as Godโ€™s Word, and agreement with our Statement of Faith

The hiring range for this position is $70,000 to $95,000 annually. Actual offers will take into consideration the candidateโ€™s education, experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, and other relevant factors.
