Position Overview:

As part of the talented Global Supply Chain team, you will lead the company's global distribution and logistics strategy to drive profitable growth, improve customer experience, and enhance supply chain performance. This role oversees the design and execution of a scalable global network, ensuring strong performance in safety, service, cost, and reliability across both internal distribution operations and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. The Director aligns distribution capabilities with business needs through data-driven decisions, delivering a flexible and resilient fulfillment model across regions. The ideal candidate brings expertise in network strategy and 3PL management, with a proven ability to lead complex, multi-region operations.

Essential Functions:

Strategic Leadership

Define and execute the global distribution and logistics strategy aligned with growth, customer, and financial objectives.

  • Lead the design, optimization, and evolution of a scalable global distribution network to improve service, cost, and responsiveness.
  • Partner with executive leadership to enable market expansion, new product introductions, and enhanced customer experience.

Operational Execution

Lead day-to-day performance of global distribution operations, including internal facilities, transportation networks, and logistics partners.

  • Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.
  • Drive operational improvements through data analytics, process discipline, and automation to enhance service levels and efficiency.

Team & Stakeholder Management

Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global distribution organization across multiple regions.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Manufacturing, and Procurement to align supply, demand, and fulfillment execution.
  • Manage logistics and carrier partners, including performance management, contract negotiations, and service level delivery.

Financial & Risk Management

Own the global distribution budget, including cost management, forecasting, and performance tracking.

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to network disruption, geopolitical factors, and capacity constraints.
  • Advance sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of distribution operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in global distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of global logistics, transportation, warehousing, and trade compliance.
  • Proven track record of leading global distribution networks and executing strategic initiatives and managing both internal distribution operation and outsourced partners across multiple regions.
  • Demonstrated success aligning distribution strategies with business objectives, including revenue growth, margin improvement, and customer experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities with experience influencing at executive levels.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with supply chain systems and technologies (ERP, WMS, and analytics & logistics technology platforms).
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), automation, and sustainability practices in logistics and distribution environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with a track record of influencing at the executive level.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, global business environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able toremain in a stationary positionfor extended periods (e.g., at a desk or workstation).
  • Constantly operates a computer and other standard office equipment.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $132,500 - $196,000, annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This position is also eligible for an award target as part of Brunswick's long-term incentive program.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
