Job description

Essential Job Functions
  • Proposal Management: Leads the design and pricing of customer RFPs, incorporating standard tariffs, historical data, and client-specific requirements.
  • Design and Implementation: Develops comprehensive transportation solutions for customer RFPs, emphasizing Air and Ocean freight services.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrates in depth knowledge of Air and Ocean freight products, including pricing mechanisms, market trends, and optimization techniques.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Works to optimize clients' supply chains by analyzing and improving transportation routes, reducing costs, and enhancing service levels.
  • Presentation Skills: Delivers compelling presentations to internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating complex solutions.
  • Performance Measurement: Establishes baselines and implements performance measures to track and improve project outcomes.
  • Advanced Analytics: Utilizes advanced analytics to understand business needs, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and optimize supply chains.
  • Sales Support: Actively supports the sales process, contributing to the development of value propositions and client proposals, with a focus on Air and Ocean freight.
  • Process Improvement: Identifies process gaps and recommends and implements improvements to enhance pricing strategies and overall efficiency
  • Additional Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the team and company.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required in engineering/business or supply chain or equivalent.
  • MBA and/or Industrial Engineering favored
  • Two years of related experience preferred
