Job Overview
Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Tampa, FL
Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Quality Manager to support in Tampa, FL.
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assists with maintaining and updating the Quality Management Plan (QMP), ensuring quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) practices are integrated across engineering, Test & Evaluation (T&E), deployments, logistics, and operations.
  • Reviews deliverables prior to submission to ensure all contractual, technical, and quality requirements are met and that content aligns with program and corporate standards.
  • Helps create, edit, and maintain templates, process documents, and standard forms to promote consistency, standardization, and compliance across the program.
  • Conducts spot checks, readiness reviews, and audits to verify adherence to program requirements, corporate policies, and ISO 9001 standards. Develops quality-related tracking and audit reports as applicable.
  • Monitors quality and performance metrics; promptly communicates quality issues, risks, or nonconformances to the PM for resolution.
  • Tracks corrective and preventive actions- documenting findings and driving closure.
  • Support for internal and external audits - customer audits, corporate audits, ISO audits, etc.
  • Provides quality-related training to program leadership and key staff responsible for implementing quality processes.
  • Supports the review and tracking of risks, issues, opportunities, and lessons learned, ensuring quality considerations are captured and integrated into continuous improvement effort.
  • Collaborates with Operational Teams and the PMO to support continuous monitoring, process improvements, and compliance.
  • Helps to manage and maintain quality-related artifacts, records, and documentation within SharePoint, ensuring proper version control, permissions, metadata, and organization.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
  • 10 years Quality Management experience, including extensive experience ensuring ISO 9001 compliance, conducting audits, developing KPIs, and reporting on quality and risk trends.
  • Strong capabilities with Microsoft 365 Suite and Microsoft Project.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint, including document libraries, metadata, permissions, workflows, and supporting teams in SharePoint-based processes.
  • Experience supporting Government contracts, including familiarity with TO requirements, CDRLs, and compliance processes.

Desired Qualification
  • Quality certifications such as ASQ or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Understanding of RMF, configuration management, and continuous monitoring practices.
  • Possesses Lead Auditor ISO certifications.
  • Experience supporting SharePoint governance, content structuring, or site administration.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Business, Information Systems) or equivalent experience.
