Position Description Summary:

The George Washington University Law School invites applications for two entry-level, tenure-track faculty appointments, beginning in Fall 2027. The school is interested in candidates in two fields of study: immigration and family law. The University and Law School have a strong commitment to preparing students to become resilient leaders who help shape solutions to the pressing challenges of our times. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for teaching, research, and service.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a J.D. degree or an advanced degree in a relevant field, and have relevant experience such as teaching, legal practice, or judicial clerkships. Applicants must also have a strong academic record that demonstrates the potential for superb teaching and show scholarly promise, evidenced by publications in scholarly journals or scholarly works in progress.

Advertised Salary: The salary range for these positions is $185,000–$205,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
