Role Overview:Lead Business Systems Analyst, Oracle Cloud ERP

We are currently in search of aLeadBusiness Systems Analyst - Oracle Cloud ERPto support our accounting, finance, procurement, and billing systems across the8,400+person global company in our headquarters office inArlington, VA (Rosslyn). TheLeadBusiness Systems Analystwill work with the Oracle Cloud team within Financial Systems to modernize CoStar's global billing,ARand collections processes through migrating the company's global contracts to cash processes from legacy applications onto the Oracle Cloud ERP platform. The analyst willbe responsible forOracle functional configurations including setup of Receivables, Bill Management and Advanced Collections, Revenue Management, Payments, Cash Management and Fusion Tax. In addition to Oracletechno-functional skillset, the ideal candidate also has experience in CEMLI design including integrations, reports, dataconversions. The candidate will have experience configuring Lockbox and Funds Capture in the cloud. The Oracle Cloud team within Financial Systems ensures proper change management for SOX compliance, adheres to project management and SDLC and PMLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, OUM) as directed by the leadership, enters data or processes information, and communicates with peers, business process owners, and departmental management. This role will report to the Sr Manager, Oracle - Financial Systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with key stakeholders to document and analyze current-state processes across financial, regulatory, and accounting systems.

  • Translate process improvement recommendations into clear, actionable functional requirements.

  • Lead business analysis andrequirementselicitation efforts for system implementations and enhancements.

  • Communicate complex technical and functional concepts to business users to support informed decision-making.

  • Design and manage application security using Oracle standard security roles, ensuring proper role alignment and access governance.

  • Implement and support Oracle Financials Cloud ERP as the central financial systems platform for CoStar Group.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for core Oracle modules, including Receivables, Bill Management and Advanced Collections, Revenue Management, Payments, Cash Management, and Fusion Tax.

  • Configure and personalize Oracle Cloud applications; troubleshoot and resolve functional issues.

  • Raise, manage, and resolve service requests with Oracle and other vendors.

  • Customize Oracle Cloud application functionality and user experience using Application Composer.

  • Develop basic reports and data queries using OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), and BI Publisher.

  • Collaborate with external vendors and Corporate IT to design and support data integrations with internal and external systems.

  • Lead and manage small system enhancement projectsin accordance withestablished SDLC and PMLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, RUP, OUM), as directed by leadership.

  • Support Quality Assurance efforts, including test planning, execution, and defect resolution for new implementations and periodic releases.

  • Produce comprehensive system documentation, including business requirements documents, functional designs, user manuals, test scripts, test plans, and training materials.

  • Support large-scale data migration initiatives resulting from acquisitions, system upgrades, or new implementations.

  • Proactivelyidentifyrisks and issues, communicate potential impacts, and escalate trends to management.

  • Ensure systems and processescomply withSOX and other regulatory documentation requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college or university.

  • A track recordof commitment to prior employers.

  • 8+ years of professional IT experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle E-Business Suite, including:

  • Functional configuration of Oracle Receivables, Advanced Collections, Revenue Management, and Cash Management

  • Business systems analysis and requirements documentation

  • Managing and resolving Oracle service requests

  • Strong business process re-engineering and documentationexpertise; Visio process mapping experiencerequired.

  • Advancedproficiencywith Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Oracle ERP Cloud implementation experience.

  • Basic SQLproficiency.

  • Experienceoperatingin highly regulated environments (e.g., SOX, PCI, PII).

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.

  • Experience with collaboration tools such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Ability to perform diagnostics,identifyproblems and provide resolutions

  • Global systems experience (North America and Europe preferred).

  • Experience building reports in OTBI, FRS, and BI Publisher.

  • Basic understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud.

  • Java and/or Groovy scripting experience.

  • Oracle Cloud Implementation Certification (Receivables, Revenue Management, or General Ledger) obtained within the past two years.

  • Lean Six Sigma and/or Project Management certification.
