  • Compliance and localization: Coordinate with Tax and local Finance to ensure proposed designs meet einvoicing mandates and statutory requirements.

  • Process consulting: Lead Kyriba-side workshops with Finance COEs for P2P, O2C, and R2R; synthesize requirements, prioritize tradeoffs, and provide decision records to guide the implementation partner's scalable design.

  • Testing and quality: Define test strategy and scenarios; oversee SIT/UAT execution and defect triage with the partner; manage cutover readiness criteria and hypercare success measures on behalf of Finance.

Product ownership (2027+)

  • Roadmap and value delivery: Own the Workday Financials roadmap aligned to CFO priorities; manage backlog, quarterly releases, and value realization.

  • Solution optimization: Design and maintain complex configurations (cost centers, intercompany billing, allocations, revenue recognition/allocation as applicable); configure, test, validate, and deploy Business Process updates.

  • Release management: Evaluate and adopt Workday feature releases; run impact assessments, regression testing, and stakeholder communications.

  • Innovation and AI: Champion Workday's innovation roadmap; evaluate AI/ML features for reconciliation, anomaly detection, and forecasting in line with Kyriba Finance objectives.

  • Analytics: Enable reporting and dashboards using Workday Report Writer/Composite, Prism Analytics, and Adaptive Planning to provide real-time, multi-dimensional insight.

  • Governance, security, and data: Own finance master data stewardship (values, validation rules, exception reporting); role-based security, and audit evidence processes with IT Security and Internal Audit.

  • Partnerships and mentorship: Serve as escalation point for Finance Systems and Finance Ops; coach team members and drive continuous learning.
