THE OPPORTUNITYย

We'reย looking for aย Manufacturing Senior Directorย to lead our distillery, warehouse, packaging, and maintenance operations across two iconic Kentucky locations. This is more than an operations role -ย it'sย your chance to shape the future of bourbon manufacturing at one of the world's most passionate beverage companies.ย

Lawrenceburg & Wilderness Trail, Kentuckyย ย

Reports to: VP of Manufacturing & Engineeringย ย

Travel: ~10%ย

WHAT YOU'LL DOย

You'llย ownย the fullย P&L across both sites andย setย the strategic direction for our productionย and warehouseย operations.ย Here'sย what a day in your shoes looks like:ย

  • Lead and inspire teams across Distilling, Packaging, Warehousing, and Maintenance - driving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvementย

  • Own the plant's SQDCP performance: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People - every single dayย

  • Manage Labor Relations, including collectiveย bargainingย agreementย processesย with the local union, turning challenges into engagement opportunitiesย

  • Champion Employee Engagement initiatives across both sites - building a more productive, motivated, and connected workforceย

  • Set the strategic plan and annual budget for both sites, while staying hands-on in day-to-day performanceย

  • Partner with Planning, Customer Service, and Innovation teams to bring new products to lifeย

  • Develop, coach, and grow a high-performing site leadership team (Packaging, Distillery, Barrel Warehouse, and Maintenance/Engineering Managers)ย

  • Drive full compliance with TTB, GMP, ISO, and all food safety standardsย

  • Alignย local operations withย Campariย Group manufacturing standards - while keeping Kentucky's bourbon spirit front and centerย

WHO YOU AREย

You'reย a seasoned operations leader who gets the best out of people and processes. You bring both strategic vision andย the boots-on-the-ground instincts to run a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment.ย

  • Bourbon industry experience isย a mustย - Distillation, Aging andย Bottling,ย you know what it takes to produce world-class whiskey. From grain to barrel to bottleย

  • 10+ years of supervisory/management experience in manufacturing, production,ย warehousingย and maintenance/engineeringย

  • Provenย Site Leadershipย track recordย

  • Demonstrated experience leading labor relations in a unionized manufacturing environment, with a provenย track recordย of developing productive union relationships.ย

  • Hands-on experience preparing for andย participatingย in collective bargaining negotiations (e.g., strategy development, costing support, proposal development, table negotiations, and post-ratification implementation).ย

  • BA/BS in Business, Engineering, or relevantย experienceย ย

  • Outstanding communicator - you can inspire a shift supervisor and present to the VP in the same morningย

WHAT SETS YOU APARTย

At Campari, we value leaders who combine sharp execution with genuineย peopleย passion. Our ideal Plant Director excels at:ย

  • Execution & Foresightย - delivering results whileย anticipatingย what'sย nextย

  • Business Judgmentย - balancing financial, operational, and organizational priorities with confidenceย

  • People Developmentย - attracting, growing, andย retainingย top talentย

  • Teamworkย - building bridges across functions, sites, and levelsย

In Kentucky,ย you'llย be at the heart of one of the world's most celebrated bourbon traditionsย -ย leadingย the people and operations that make it happen.ย

Ready to raise a glassย toย the next chapter of your career?ย
