Position Description:
CSUSA Mid South is currently seeking a licensed, highly skilled, motivated, and safety-oriented Journeyman Leadman. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC or plumbing within commercial construction. The Journeyman Leadman will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of tradespeople, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with project managers and clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise journeyman and apprentice-level team members on job sites
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for HVAC and plumbing systems
  • Plan daily work activities, allocate resources, and maintain project timelines
  • Ensure compliance with job site safety standards and company policies
  • Perform installations, modifications, and preventive maintenance as needed
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, foremen, and clients
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records

Requirements:
  • Valid Journeyman license in plumbing or HVAC
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction projects
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to mentor team members
  • Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety practices
  • Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and at various heights
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Experience in Medical Gas (MedGas) installation is ideal
