Are you the kind of technician who knows your way around a skid steer, mini excavator, or telehandler like it’s second nature? Maybe you’re not actively looking, but you’d make a move for the right shop. This might be it.

At Leppo Rents, we’re looking for diesel mechanics of all skill levels who can hit the ground running and deliver the top-notch service our customers count on. We value experience, hustle, and the ability to think outside the box when solving problems in the field or in the shop.

If you’re ready to join an award-winning company that values its technicians as much as its customers, apply today and discover what it’s like to work the Leppo Way.

What’s in it for you:

  • Bi-annual tool allowance
  • Training & development programs to level up your expertise
  • Quarterly & annual performance bonuses
  • Full benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability Insurance

  • Company-paid apparel allowance + milestone anniversary gifts
  • 401(k) with company match

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience repairing and servicing compact construction equipment (skid steers, mini excavators, telehandlers, and more)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and get machines back to work quickly
  • Customer-first attitude – our technicians are the face of our service
  • Team players who are ready to step in and keep projects moving

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on compact construction equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems).
  • Handle routine maintenance to keep our rental fleet in “ready-to-work” condition.
  • Use computer-based diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
  • Keep detailed repair and maintenance records and manage work orders.
  • Mentor and collaborate with teammates across Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental.

Why join Leppo?

At Leppo Rents, you’re not just another wrench in the shop—you’re part of a team that’s trusted, respected, and invested in. We’ve been recognized as one of the best places to work year after year, because we do things the Leppo Way:

  • We keep our commitments.
  • We value thorough, high-quality work.
  • We empower techs to make good decisions.
  • We encourage questions, growth, and curiosity.

When you join Leppo, you get more than a paycheck—you get a career path, the tools to succeed, and a culture that celebrates your wins.

Leppo Rents is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences.
