Job description

This hybrid role seeks a Senior Project Manager with 15 to 18 years of experience to drive complex implementations of SuccessFactors LMS platforms in the medical devices domain while coordinating cross functional teams ensuring regulatory alignment and delivering reliable learning technology solutions that enhance patient safety and customer outcomes across global operations.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $130,000/Year to $160,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Responsibilities
  • Drive end to end project planning for SuccessFactors LMS platforms by defining scope timelines and milestones that support reliable delivery of learning capabilities for medical device organizations.
  • Coordinate cross functional project activities across business stakeholders human resources quality assurance and information technology teams to ensure consistent execution of SuccessFactors LMS initiatives.
  • Manage project risks related to validated LMS environments by identifying dependencies issues and constraints early and defining mitigation actions aligned with regulatory expectations in the medical devices sector.
  • Oversee configuration and rollout of SuccessFactors LMS PRD and SuccessFactors Validated LMS environments to support scalable and compliant learning solutions that improve workforce readiness.
  • Guide the integration of SuccessFactors LMS Commerce capabilities by aligning catalog structures payment flows and reporting with organizational training strategies and medical device regulatory needs.
  • Align LMS and LCMS domain capabilities with learning strategies by mapping curricula content structures and assessments to role based competencies and compliance obligations.
  • Collaborate with quality and regulatory partners to ensure learning workflows audit trails and training records support medical device validation requirements and inspection readiness.
  • Orchestrate data migration and user adoption activities by planning cutover strategies user communication and structured onboarding that minimize disruption to critical medical device operations.
  • Monitor project budgets and resource usage by tracking planned versus actual effort and adjusting work allocations to maintain financial discipline without compromising solution quality.
  • Optimize project execution with hybrid work arrangements by defining collaboration practices meeting structures and communication channels that keep distributed teams aligned and productive.
  • Apply open source large language model solutions responsibly by supporting use cases such as content tagging knowledge search and learning insights while respecting data privacy and security expectations.
  • Collaborate with change management partners to define training plans stakeholder engagement strategies and support materials that encourage sustained use of new LMS solutions.
  • Measure the impact of learning technology solutions by defining key performance indicators and leveraging usage analytics to demonstrate improved compliance outcomes and learning effectiveness in the medical devices domain.
  • Coordinate ongoing enhancements and release cycles by prioritizing backlog items validating changes in test environments and scheduling deployments to reduce operational risk for medical device users.

  • Require extensive experience managing complex enterprise learning management system programs with strong focus on SuccessFactors LMS platforms across production and validated environments.
  • Require proven expertise with SuccessFactors LMS PRD SuccessFactors Validated LMS and SuccessFactors LMS Commerce including configuration testing and release coordination for global organizations.
  • Require deep domain knowledge in LMS and LCMS including curriculum design item structures content publishing version control and compliance reporting in regulated industries.
  • Require solid background in medical devices domain including understanding of validation documentation training traceability and regulatory expectations related to employee qualification.
  • Require demonstrated ability to collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory teams to align project deliverables with validation plans standard operating procedures and audit requirements.
  • Require experience coordinating hybrid project teams with clear communication routines status reporting and issue resolution practices that support distributed contributors.
  • Nice to have experience applying open source large language model technologies within learning ecosystems for tasks such as content enrichment search optimization and analytics augmentation.
