Job description

A  family living in NYC (UES and Gramercy) is seeking a top-notch live-out nanny to help care for their 11-year-old daughter.  There is a second nanny to care for their 4.5-year-old son.  You will be working closely together.  You would need to be comfortable working between two households working under mom and working under dad collaboratively in separate homes.  The schedule is Monday through Friday, taking to school, staying until or through dinner with late nights varying.  The family is open to relocating.  The family is ready to hire someone seeking longevity in a role.


  • Must excel at managing child’s schedule
  • Coordinating with tutors, therapists, orthodontist appointments, etc
  • Enrolling child in activities at discretion of parents
  • Working between two households
  • Drop off/pick up from school, afterschool activities and playdates
  • Homework help required
  • Meal prep/light cooking for children, as needed
  • Travel as needed (summer, long weekends, vacation, etc.)
  • Care for both children at times
  • Some late nights and weekends required depending on family needs
 

  • Must be legal to work in the US
  • Must drive and have a valid and clean driver’s license
  • Must be able to swim
  • Working on some holidays will be required
  • Experience with middle school-aged children is a plus
  • Background or experience with children with OCD/ADHD is a plus
  • Comfortable working between two households

The family is offering a guaranteed salary of $100,000 annually.

Benefits include:
