Dream Nannies is seeking a patient, positive, and engaging nanny for a wonderful family in Decatur caring for two girls, ages 6 and 4. The ideal nanny will be fun, active, and nurturing while also being comfortable setting loving boundaries. The 6-year-old is funny, caring, athletic, and sensitive. She loves gymnastics, K-pop Demon Hunters, animals, and creative play. The 4-year-old is playful, imaginative, and full of personality. She loves Bluey, singing, gymnastics, and playing house. The family is looking for someone who will get down on their level, encourage confidence, and help them navigate big emotions with patience and consistency.
Responsibilities include preparing meals for the girls, occasional family meal prep, children's laundry, dishes, light housekeeping, tidying play areas, vacuuming, and running errands as needed. The schedule is Monday-Friday with afternoon/evening hours (approximately 2:30/3:00 PM-7:30 PM on childcare days), with flexibility for occasional date nights. The family values open communication, kindness, diversity, and a respectful environment. Must be comfortable swimming.
