A Live Music Intern supports the planning and execution of live music events, such as concerts, festivals, and venue performances. Typical tasks may include assisting with event setup, helping with artist coordination, handling administrative duties, and promoting shows on social media. Interns often gain hands-on experience in areas like stage management, sound checks, and ticketing while learning about the live music industry. This role is ideal for those interested in music, event planning, or entertainment management.

What are the typical responsibilities of a live music intern, and how do these tasks contribute to the success of live events?

As a Live Music Intern, you can expect to be involved in a range of tasks such as assisting with event setup and breakdown, supporting artist hospitality, helping with ticketing or guest list coordination, and managing social media updates during performances. You'll also likely interact with both venue staff and performers to ensure smooth communication and troubleshooting on event days. These responsibilities are crucial for maintaining event flow and creating a positive experience for both artists and attendees, giving you hands-on insight into the logistics and teamwork required in live music production.
