RV PARK TEMPORARY EVENT STAFF
Job Status: Temporary Position - 5-Day Event Assignment
Job Location: TWO RIVERS RV PARK
Job Shift: ANY
Reports to: RV PARK GENERAL MANAGER
Wage: $18.00 per hour/Non-Exempt

Temporary Event Staff
Temporary Position - 5-Day Event Assignment
Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and motivated temporary staff to assist during a multi-day community fireworks and entertainment event. Temporary Event Staff will support event operations including parking control, guest assistance, traffic direction, shuttle support, crowd monitoring, setup/cleanup assistance, and general event support duties. Employees must maintain a professional attitude, provide excellent customer service, and help ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
This is a temporary position scheduled for approximately five (5) days during the event period, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Direct vehicles and assist with parking operations
  • Provide guests with directions and event information
  • Assist with crowd flow and line management
  • Monitor assigned event areas for safety concerns
  • Assist with golf cart shuttle loading/unloading operations
  • Support food vendor and activity areas as assigned
  • Maintain cleanliness of event grounds and common areas
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown activities
  • Report safety concerns, incidents, or emergencies to supervisors
  • Work cooperatively with event supervisors, security staff, vendors, and fellow team members
  • Perform other event-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to work the full temporary event schedule
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holiday, and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and coworkers
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to follow directions
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous event, customer service, parking, security, or traffic control experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout assigned shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time

Employment Requirements
  • Successful completion of pre-employment urinalysis (UA/drug screening) is required
  • Must comply with all event safety policies and procedures

Work Environment
Work is performed primarily outdoors in a busy event environment with large crowds, vehicle traffic, loud noise levels, and varying weather conditions.
