Job description

Asure Wound Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Specialist, Wound Care Supplies to join our team. This is a remote position based in the central Massachusetts area (you must live in the area) and requires experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities as well as a strong background in wound care. The ideal candidate must be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours away.

Starting salary for this position is $75,000/yr

Benefits include: travel reimbursement, paid Holidays, PTO, Health benefits

Shift: Monday - Friday

Wound Care Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the management of wounds and wound-related conditions

  • Develop and implement wound care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

  • Educate and train nursing home staff on proper wound care techniques, products and equipment usage

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper wound care is provided in a timely manner

  • Monitor and document the progress of wounds and adjust wound care plans as needed

  • Maintain current knowledge of best practices in wound care and stay abreast of new developments in the field

Wound Care Requirements:

  • Active nursing license

  • At least 3 years of nursing experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilities
