LIVE OPERATIONS IT ANALYST- PORK AND POULTRY
We are looking for a Live Operations IT Analyst for JBS IT Department that is based out of the Corporate Office in Greeley, CO.
Under direct supervision and under established procedures, assists higher level analysts/managers to develop functional and design specifications, to produce deliverables related to an assigned project(s) for implementation and system enhancements. Gather, compile and combine information with regard to technology processes or systems. Assists higher level analysts/managers with the design, installation and maintenance of systems projects.
Performs the analysis of company functions, business processes, and daily activities to improve business applications for the most effective use of IT tools. Serves as a functional liaison between the technical IT and non-technical business users for addressing their information needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Delivering assigned IT projects on time
  • Working as a team with the business to help them improve their process
  • Improve efficiencies within the team
  • Work with the business on the future roadmap for systems
  • Troubleshoot issues with plant personnel
  • Provide support for regular production issues (including on-call)
  • Understand best practices in live operations space and improve usage/effectiveness of applications
  • Work with business team to understand current pain points, research/document options to address them
  • Work with business team to implement IT system projects
  • Help with documentation, training on new system implementation initiatives.
  • Travel to live operation locations to work closely with users and troubleshoot issues reported by them
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Preferred 4-year degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Working knowledge of MTech Systems, Pig Champ, SAP preferred
  • Working knowledge of IT tools - Excel, SQL, Ticketing tools preferred
  • Ability to learn in a hands on environment
  • Prior experience with JBS Pork and/or Poultry Live Operations required
  • Deep understanding of Live Operations - Feed Mill, Pullets/Breeder/Broiler Farms, Hatcheries and/or Swine Farms
  • Technical aptitude with successful project management experience preferred
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $90,000-$100,000; and
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
