Purpose & Scope
This position is responsible for transporting animal loads as scheduled while following our biosecurity protocols. Purpose & Scope:  This position is responsible for transporting animal loads as scheduled while following our biosecurity protocols.
Principle Responsibilities
 90% - Livestock movements: loading and unloading swine• 10% - Other duties as assigned (feed haul, moving equipment, etc.)• Communication with various departments
Travel: Local travel – approx. 30 mile local farm radius
Required Qualifications
Valid Non-Expired Class A CDL• Live haul experience preferred, but not required• Strong communication and listening skills• Lift/Carry heavy objects approximately 60lbs• Constant walking, bending, pushing, pulling• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently• Be a team oriented, self-motivated and positive individual with strong work ethics• Ability to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions 
Preferred Skills:
1 year driving experience preferred• Animal handling experience preferred but not required; will provide training• Ability to work in tight spaces; trailer compartment
