We have an exciting Sow Farm Assistant Supervisor opportunity in Holyoke, CO. The Sow Farm Assistant Supervisor will attend and careforswine and assist with supervising employees at the sow farm under the direction of the manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are being followed and facilities are in good working condition, adhering to all safety procedures.
  • Maintain high herd health and adhere to all biosecurity set forth by the company and proper feeding and care of animals.
  • Training of employees on day-to-day processes and procedures to develop a competent workforce byutilizinghands-on training methods.
  • Supervising and scheduling groups of employees and acting as manager when the supervisor is notpresent.
  • Maintainaccuraterecords and reports of animals, employees, and supplies on the farm.
  • Assistand ensure that all weekly and daily reports are turned intimelyand accurately.
  • Follow the assigned medication and vaccination protocols for the farm.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Associatedegree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be proficient in English language, reading andwriting.

SCHEDULE

The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.

COMPENSATION

We offer a competitive pay ratebased on your skills and experience related to thisposition. Thestarting compensation for this position in Holyoke, CO is $51,300/yr.
