Farmers Insurance Allen Michalak Agency is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Insurance Sales Representative. As a Insurance Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced agents and develop the skills needed to build a successful career in the insurance industry. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are looking to start their career in insurance and receive comprehensive training and support.

At Farmers Insurance Allen Michalak Agency, we believe in investing in our future. As a Insurance Sales Representative, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship from our experienced team. You will learn how to prospect for new clients, evaluate their insurance needs, and provide them with tailored insurance solutions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to shadow experienced agents, attend industry seminars and workshops, and gain valuable insights into the insurance business.




This position offers a base salary of $30,000 per year, complemented by a performance-based commission and bonus structure. High-performing individuals have the opportunity to significantly increase their total earnings, with on-target annual compensation reaching $70,000 or more. Commissions and bonuses are tied directly to individual performance metrics, providing strong earning potential for motivated and results-driven candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
  • Generating insurance quotes.
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
  • Learn how to conduct insurance policy reviews and provide recommendations
  • Assist with customer service inquiries and claims processing
  • Shadow experienced agents to learn sales and marketing strategies
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, and industry events
  • Stay up-to-date on insurance industry trends and changes
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to achieve team goals

Requirements
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities.
  • A Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
  • A Life & Health Insurance license is required.
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
  • Successful sales background.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Minimum 1 year prior sales experience preferred.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
  • No prior experience in insurance necessary - we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
