Job description

Good Life is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our growing team as a Property Management Executive. The Property Management Executive (PME) is responsible for the performance of their portfolio and management of their team. They are experts in the field of property management. This includes resolving complaints, addressing client concerns, recommending course of action for clients, maintaining legal compliance, continual education, and leadership and training of portfolio team members. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Builds relationships with assigned customers, sets rental rates, negotiates and enforces lease agreements.
  • Provides leadership and works closely with the portfolio team members to ensure an exceptional customer experience is provided and takes care of any client issues.
  • Becomes the escalation point for addressing late payments and handling operating expenses.
  • Terminates leases and initiates eviction proceedings.
  • Oversees maintenance tickets and addresses any 'stale' tickets.
  • Efficiently manages time to focus on essential activities to ensure client satisfaction, lease renewals, and portfolio growth.
  • Work with clients to ensure they are leveraging our services and convert them to Realty/Referral Partner Leads.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
  • Develops and maintains strong customer relationships, both within new and existing vendors. Represents clients in matters involving third parties. Develops and shares best practices with team members to continually improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our processes.
  • Maintains fiduciary responsibilities for clients.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in real estate, property management, business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Must have an active California Real Estate license.
  • Experience as a property manager, assistant property manager or in a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of property regulations.
  • Proficiency in property management software.
  • Basic knowledge of G-Suite applications (Gmail, Drive, Word, Sheets) and Mac OS
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Great customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000 -$ 90,000 per year

  • Property management: 3+ years experience in property management and previous leadership experience is required.

License/Certification:

Important Notes
Position Details: This is a full-time salaried (exempt) position (40+ hours/week). 8:30am-5pm pst, Monday-Friday. This position is hybrid in-office and remote.
Pay: The range of pay for this California-based position is $80,000-$90,000 annually.
