Job description

Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for a Manager, Litigation Creative Services to support our litigation practices to be resident in any Dentons US office.  Working closely with our litigation teams and Senior Leadership at the Firm, this role will serve to consult on trial themes and in the preparation and procurement of trial graphics and printed media in addition to preparation of presentations for Senior Leadership. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with diverse responsibilities requiring a strong understanding of legal terminology, the ability to decipher complex ideas into easily understood visuals, and excellent communication skills. The Manager, Litigation Creative Services will serve as an integral part of the Dentons' Litigation team and will report to the Head of Practice Management while routinely working with the Head of Clients and Markets as well.  This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the trial teams to identify key case issues and themes to simplify complex concepts through visual exhibits.

Graphics

  • Collaborate with our attorneys, paralegals, and clients to develop the best visual approaches to advance their case strategy by applying critical thought and analytical skill to the development and use of litigation graphics.
  • Effectively design visual presentations that support the overall case strategy and meet specific case needs.
  • Develop and present graphics to clients while providing strategic recommendations/coaching regarding style and effective communication when using visual demonstratives.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of graphic projects as required by the engagement.
  • Forge, manage, and maintain high-level relationships with our partners, and at times, our clients.
  • Enhance operational effectiveness of the team by emphasizing cost containment, timely service, high productivity and high quality.

Evidence Presentation

  • Consult and advise attorneys and their clients on the most effective and persuasive way to present evidence to judges, jurors and other triers of fact.
  • Work directly with attorneys and other members of legal teams to seamlessly prepare evidence for trial, arbitrations, hearings and pre-trial research events.
  • Perform quality control checks on all client deliverables.
  • Assist with the development of analytical graphics.

Firmwide Presentation Support

  • Collaborate with other Firm departments (e.g., Marketing and Business Development, Finance, HR) to develop and deliver presentations that communicate key initiatives, performance metrics and strategic priorities of Dentons US.
  • Support the design and production of presentations for annual partner meetings, executive briefings, and other high-level Frm events, ensuring consistency with the Firm's brand and messaging.
  • Advise department leaders on best practices for presenting complex information to senior audiences, including partners and executive leadership.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather content, align messaging, and tailor presentations to the needs of diverse audiences across the firm.
  • Ensure all presentations for Firmwide meetings meet high standards of clarity, impact, and professionalism.

Strategic Event Support

  • Provide coaching and feedback to presenters to enhance delivery and audience engagement.
  • Maintain a repository of presentation templates and resources for use across departments, promoting efficiency and consistency.
  • Other duties may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position.

Experience & Qualifications 

  • Undergraduate degree in Advertising, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field required; master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of post-graduate experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services firm.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in litigation graphics and visual presentation consulting is strongly desired.
  • Demonstrated strength in project management, consulting, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and understand tasks quickly with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to command a credible image in front of clients.
  • Team-player who can maintain positive interpersonal relationships in the workplace.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively - both verbally, in writing, and through visual arts. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at various levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities, and achieve solutions under tight deadlines. Reliable, dependable and strong motivation to respond to requests quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply innovation in identifying problems, and in proposing and implementing solutions.

Salary

Pursuant with states' laws, the salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000, based on experience and local market.
