Associate Attorney – Litigation

Are you a litigator who wants to do more than research and draft motions?
Our client, a well-established and growing Annapolis law firm, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney who is passionate about litigation and eager to take on meaningful responsibility early in their career.
Unlike many larger firms where young associates spend years supporting senior attorneys, this position offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced partners, manage your own cases, communicate directly with clients, and gain significant courtroom experience from the outset.

What They're Looking For
The ideal candidate has approximately 1–2 years of litigation experience, although recently barred attorneys with exceptional academic credentials, strong writing skills, and a genuine passion for litigation will also be considered.
Successful candidates will possess:
- J.D. and active Maryland Bar admission
- Strong legal research and writing abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence, initiative, and sound judgment
- A desire to take ownership of cases rather than simply support them
- The ability to think independently and contribute strategically
