Description:

The Linen Associate is responsible for the cleaning, preparation, organization, and handling of linen inventory used in the Company’s full-service event rental operations. This position plays an essential role in ensuring linens are properly washed, pressed, inspected, organized, and prepared for client events according to Company quality standards.


Linen Associates are responsible for processing a variety of rental linen items, including tablecloths, napkins, runners, chair covers, and related event textiles. Associates inspect items for stains, damage, and overall quality, ensuring all linens are event-ready prior to distribution. This role also includes accurately picking, pulling, staging, and putting away linen inventory while maintaining organization and inventory accuracy within the warehouse.


The Linen Associate must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, follow written instructions and order documentation, and collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational deadlines and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash, dry, fold, and press linens according to Company standards
  • Inspect linens for stains, tears, damage, or quality concerns
  • Sort and organize linen inventory accurately
  • Pick, pull, and prepare linen orders for upcoming events
  • Return cleaned inventory to appropriate storage locations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and warehouse areas
  • Follow order sheets, inventory documentation, and written instructions accurately
  • Report damaged or missing inventory to leadership
  • Operate laundry and pressing equipment safely and appropriately
  • Follow all Company safety procedures and operational guidelines
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds consistently
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift for extended periods
  • Ability to safely use ladders and warehouse equipment as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and laundry environment

Physical Demands and Work Environment
