Select provides the widest and deepest array of event rental products and services available to event professionals. The Linen Department Associate position is part of a team responsible for linen production flow activities under the direction of the Linen Department Supervisor and/or the Operations Assistant Director.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Following the best practices for safety
  • Examine and sort linen according to color, fabric, and cleaning technique
  • Assist in the laundering process for table linens, napkins, chair covers, draperies etc
  • Operate commercial linen press, washer, and drier equipment
  • Conduct product quality control inspections
  • Assist with the packaging of processed linens
  • Lift laundered linens onto storage rack system
  • Assist in pulling/preparing linen orders for delivery to customers
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications Include:
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lb
