Job description

Lindsey Management Co., Inc. is hiring for a Director of Human Resources! We are seeking a motivated, strategic, and experienced individual to join our team at Lindsey Management Co., Inc.

Lindsey Management Co., Inc. (LMI), based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, began operations in 1985. Since then, our company has grown to become the largest property management firm of multi-family housing in the state of Arkansas and is making a strong presence in the states of Alabama, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, and Oklahoma. We manage over 40,000 apartment homes in over 160 apartment communities as well as 42 golf courses located throughout Arkansas and the Midsouth.

Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. This role shapes our organizational culture, enhances employee engagement, and drives performance management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Multi State HR Management, progressive mindset, and familiarity with ADP. You will lead an HR team of 5+, collaborate with Executive leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives while ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and be a strategic partner in all areas of the business.

Duties

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
  • Oversee talent acquisition processes including HR sourcing to attract top talent.
  • Responsible for oversight of Benefits Management and Administration.
  • Oversee HR and Payroll Team.
  • Manage the Employee Life Cycle Hire to Retire.
  • Lead training development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Ensure effective administration of employee benefits programs using systems like ADP.
  • Foster a positive workplace environment that encourages employee engagement and retention.
  • Monitor HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Directors to address workforce planning needs.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Director of Human Resources or a similar role within a dynamic organization.
  • Strong knowledge of ADP.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Certifications

  • SHRM-CP/SCP preferred
