The Role

The LIMS Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of laboratory and quality data within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and related enterprise systems (SAP, CPro). This role ensures data accuracy, system reliability, and effective support of laboratory and quality operations, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional system alignment.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in our North Kingstown, RI facility. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.

Job Description

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Administer and maintain materials, tests, specifications, and related master data within LIMS, SAP, and CPro systems.
  • Create and update system configurations for new and existing materials, including specifications, control limits, and analysis setups.
  • Implement approved system changes in accordance with established change control and ECN processes.
  • Configure and maintain LIMS functionality, including modules, interfaces, scripts, and automated workflows, as applicable.
  • Provide operational support by troubleshooting system issues and supporting uninterrupted laboratory and production activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute system documentation, procedures, and training materials in accordance with internal policies and quality requirements.
  • Train system users and maintain required training documentation and records.
  • Generate reports, control charts, and statistical outputs to support quality monitoring and decision-making.
  • Support cross-functional communication and coordination to ensure accurate and consistent system implementation across departments and sites.
  • Participate in system enhancements, process improvement initiatives, and departmental projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or information systems-related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with a LIMS, SAP, or comparable laboratory or quality management system.Experience supporting laboratory, quality, or manufacturing-related processes.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex system data accurately.
  • Working knowledge of laboratory or quality workflows and data structures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and support users in an operational environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and adapt to evolving system and business needs.
