Job Overview:

Pay Range: $60hr - $65hr
  • The Lead Sample Manager LIMS will lead technical implementation and enhancement initiatives for SampleManager LIMS systems.ย 
  • This role is responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, configuring LIMS modules, and delivering end-to-end implementations while ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational standards.ย 
  • The role also involves client-facing engagement, technical leadership, and full lifecycle software delivery across multiple LIMS projects.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in SampleManager LIMS implementation and support.
  • Strong experience in LIMS solution design, development, integration, and system analysis.
  • Experience leading technical teams and handling end-to-end LIMS implementation projects.
  • Experience in requirement gathering, client workshops, and preparing specification documents.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience:

  • Experience front-ending client discussions to understand enhancement requirements and propose solutions.
  • Experience delivering LIMS configurations and enhancements within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Experience working across multiple teams and client environments.
  • Experience performing peer code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance activities.
  • Experience supporting full system lifecycle activities including maintenance and production support.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical implementation of SampleManager LIMS projects and enhancements.
  • Conduct client requirement gathering workshops and translate needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Design, develop, configure, and implement LIMS enhancements and workflows.
  • Develop and support modules including sample workflows, stock management, instrument modules, and integrations.
  • Configure instrument interfacing using Integration Manager and related tools.
  • Develop and maintain reports, forms, labels, dashboards, and scheduling components.
  • Support batch management, lot management, stability studies, and related LIMS functionalities.
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet client requirements, timelines, and organizational standards.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and clients.
  • Participate in peer reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and ensure successful project delivery.

Should Have:

  • Experience with LIMS modules such as Sample Scheduler, SQC, SM-IDI, PIMS, and dashboards.
  • Experience in integration methodologies and system interoperability.
  • Exposure to quality assurance practices in regulated environments.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and evolving client requirements.
