We are seeking a Smartsheet Configuration Consultant to support clients in designing, configuring, and optimizing Smartsheet environments that enable scalable execution, transparent reporting, and effective program governance. This role sits at the intersection of process design, technology enablement, and change management, translating business needs into intuitive Smartsheet solutions that teams actually adopt.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000
What You Will Work On
  • Support delivery of Advisory Services engagements spanning strategic transformation, operating model design, process improvement, risk and compliance, mergers & acquisitions, and more.
  • Lead and maintain project portfolio tracking and reporting using Smartsheet, including building dashboards, automated workflows, resource views, and executive-level reports for client engagements.
  • Apply PPM frameworks to help clients prioritize, plan, and govern portfolios of initiatives, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives and resource capacity.
  • Solicit and document business requirements, helping translate needs into practical solutions.
  • Independently develop clear, client-ready deliverables, including presentations, analyses, and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress across workstreams.
  • Support implementation activities, including process improvements, system enhancements, and operating model changes.
  • Identify issues, risks, and dependencies, and escalate appropriately to project leads.
  • Apply structured problem-solving and analytical skills to support decision-making and project outcomes.
  • Contribute to tools, templates, and deliverables that improve consistency and quality of work.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and internal teams, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Coach more junior resources delivering upon client engagements, when applicable.
  • Participate in internal initiatives and support the continued growth of the CFO Advisory Services and the overall Consulting business unit.

What You Will Bring
  • 3-5+ years of experience working in strategy or management consulting in a client-facing role
  • Hands-on Smartsheet experience is required, including building project plans, dashboards, automated workflows, and executive-level reports. Smartsheet certification is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated PPM experience is required, including portfolio governance, intake processes, prioritization frameworks, capacity planning, and portfolio-level status reporting
  • Experience supporting client engagements spanning strategy, transformation, and operational improvement
  • Ability to understand client business models and adapt across industries
  • Experience developing clear, client-ready presentations and deliverables
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences
  • Proficient with project delivery, including building project plans, tracking progress, identifying risks, and supporting issue resolution
  • Knowledge of finance transformation, FP&A, controllership, and/or finance operations
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships and work across functions; high energy, strong integrity, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated interest in and aptitude for business development, including identifying opportunities to expand client relationships, contributing to proposals and RFPs, and supporting go-to-market activities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field; PMP, Change Management, or Smartsheet certification is a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed
