Apartment Maintenance Technician II

Lighthouse is a nationwide investment company, which specializes in owning and managing a diverse portfolio of apartment communities across the nation.

What you’ll be doing: An Assistant Maintenance Technician ensures property integrity, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities encompass general repairs, plumbing, painting, and grounds maintenance. Effective communication, safety compliance, and collaboration with the team are vital, as well as documenting work and monitoring equipment and supplies inventory.

What you do
Complete daily service requests, punch outs, cut outs, and preventive maintenance ????️
Turn vacant apartments into move in ready homes ????
Perform plumbing work such as fixing leaks, clearing drains, replacing faucets, hoses, and minor lines.
Handle electrical work including outlets, switches, breakers, light fixtures, and basic circuits ????
Paint and prep walls, doors, floors, appliances, roofs, and equipment using brushes, rollers, and sprayers ????
Repair and maintain doors, cabinets, countertops, molding, caulking, blinds, and window screens.
Service appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, and dishwashers ????
Clear drains and sewer lines up to four inches.
Remove bulk trash and abandoned items, including appliances.
Perform minor drywall repairs, stair tread repairs, and cove base work.
Maintain grounds by picking up trash, sweeping dumpster areas, and caring for landscaping beds ????
Clean and inspect mechanical rooms and storage areas.
Assist with rodent control and snow removal when applicable.
Safely use ladders and perform rooftop work when required ????
Track inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
Complete work orders and job documentation accurately.
Communicate progress and issues with your supervisor.
Follow OSHA, Fair Housing laws, safety rules, and company SOPs.
Maintain a professional appearance on and off the property.[i]
