Responsibilities
The Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Receptionist to join our team:
Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital, located near beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC, treats adolescents, adults and senior adults in need of psychiatric services, as well as adults who suffer from a chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or are in need of rehabilitation. Lighthouse offers 24-hour admissions, needs assessment, and referral services.
Job Summary: Receives and relays incoming and outgoing telephone calls for the facility. Provides directory information, transfers calls as appropriate. Enters facility directory information into the computer database. Makes general and emergency announcements over the facility's PA system. Handles the facility paging system and the beeper system.

Qualifications
Job Requiment:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • One to three years experience as a switchboard operator preferred.
Language Skills:
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
