Role Description This is a full-time hybrid available role for an LPC, LCSW, MSW, or LMFT based in Virginia Beach, VA, with some work-from-home flexibility. The clinician will provide individual, couple, and family therapy, complete psychosocial assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to client needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a caseload, delivering evidence-based interventions, documenting sessions and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements, and coordinating care with other providers when appropriate. The role also involves participating in case consultations, adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice, and engaging in ongoing professional development. The clinician will contribute to a collaborative practice culture that supports quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated competency in Social Work, professional counseling or marriage and family counseling for assessment, treatment planning, and resource coordination.
  • Experience in Case Management, including care coordination, referrals, and advocacy for client needs.
  • Knowledge and practice experience in Mental Health, including mood, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions.
  • Background in Behavioral Health, including behavioral interventions, psychoeducation, and support for co-occurring conditions.
  • Active or eligible licensure as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or supervision-eligible MSW in the state of Virginia.
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.
  • Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in outpatient counseling or psychotherapy settings preferred.
