Job description

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions (LBHS) offers a full continuum of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential treatment, psychiatric services, and medication‑assisted treatment. Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary: This position provides high-quality patient care to adults with identified mental health or substance use diagnosis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assess physical and behavioral health needs of patient.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans specific to assessed needs, with an initial treatment plan to be completed upon admission.
  • Maintain medical records and educate patients about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
  • Provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Ensure patient's status is assessed on an ongoing basis and pertinent information gathered is documented.
  • Collect samples for lab testing as needed.
  • Encouraging, supporting, and listening to clients; serving as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are communicated and respected
  • Collaborating with Lighthouse staff to provide consistent quality care.
  • Maintaining good working relationships with support networks, government resources, and community resources.

Required Experience/Certifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Current and valid Ohio RN licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.
  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues, and community resources
  • Excellent time management skills; organized and able to prioritize

Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday 8:30a-5p

Compensation Range: $37.00 - 43.27/hr

Location: 30 S 4th St Newark, OH 43055 (this role will also serve our Lancaster and Zanesville offices)
