Job Title: S&R Lift Operator FLSA Status: Hourly Department: S&R Dept.
SUMMARY: The S&R Lift Operator is responsible for efficiently picking raw materials, scanning them for production orders, and delivering them to the de-boxing area. This position requires a solid understanding of inventory management, daily coordination with Operations regarding production needs, and proactive communication to ensure accurate inventory levels. The role also involves assisting with the receipt and proper storage of inbound products. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, capable of supporting production requirements while maintaining an accurate inventory system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure the timely availability of materials for production.
  • Accurately maintain and update inventory records, resolving discrepancies in collaboration with the department supervisor.
  • Participate in period-end inventory counts, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary and organized workspace at all times.
  • Support other departmental tasks as assigned by the department supervisor.

RECEIVING & INBOUD TASKS:
  • Assist with scanning inbound products and verify the accuracy of order counts.
  • Ensure all inbound pallets are properly scanned and recorded.
  • Communicate with supervisors & clerks to confirm the correct counts and documentation of inbound shipments.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS:
  • Consistently demonstrate reliability by maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Utilize problem solving and analytical skills to address inventory and production challenges.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet production demands and deadlines.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Display the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
  • Possess basic computer skills (proficiency a plus).
  • Be flexible to work weekends, overtime, or until all tasks are completed.
  • Follow, interpret, and enforce company policies, GMP standards, and procedures.
  • English proficiency required; bilingual skills are a plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High school degree or GED, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Experience using scanning equipment and S&R equipment such as pallet jacks

  • Ability to lift and carry materials as required for the position.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
