Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Makes regular security and safety rounds inside and outside community buildings
  • Follows assigned security schedules and job routines
  • Communicates clearly, courteously, and professionally with residents, visitors, and team members
  • Responds quickly and appropriately to urgent care needs and dispatches responses to calls for assistance
  • Uses computers and emergency response systems, including the SARA system
  • Operates equipment such as vehicles, radios, carts, phones, and computers
  • Complies with infection control regulations and policies
  • Assists in security-related training, including fire drills and emergency evacuations
  • Maintains accurate logs and records in a timely manner

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or security-related role preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to relate to the needs and concerns of senior adults
