Position Overview

The Glebe is seeking a Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for a skilled and passionate professional who takes pride in food quality, presentation, and consistency. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare menu items according to standardized recipes and production schedules
  • Coordinate food production with meal service times
  • Follow special dietary requirements and modified diets as needed
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain strict adherence to sanitation and food safety regulations
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, tools, and workspaces
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Minimum Requirements
  • Previous experience in cooking or culinary arts
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency
  • Solid knife skills and food prep techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
