Fargo Public Schools is seeking caring, dependable individuals to join our substitute support staff team.

Whether you're looking for occasional work or a way to stay connected to education, substitute positions offer the opportunity to choose when and where you work while building meaningful relationships with students, staff, and the Fargo community.

Position Purpose

Provide instructional and non-instructional support to teachers and students throughout the school day. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting teachers in classrooms, including Special Education classrooms
  • Supporting students during instructional activities
  • Supervising students in the lunchroom, on the playground, or during study halls
  • Assisting in school offices, libraries, or other school programs
  • Performing other duties as assigned based on school needs

Schedules vary based on school needs and your availability.
