About the role: Our client is seeking Project Coordinators to support the Strategic Projects Group within Energy Supply. These positions play a critical role in coordinating documentation, drawings, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and project communications. They do this for major capital projects, including wind farms, solar installations, repower initiatives, substations, transmission projects, and other infrastructure investments valued at $15M+.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, tracking deliverables, managing deadlines, and serving as a key support resource to project teams. Successful candidates will help ensure critical project documents move efficiently through review and approval processes while maintaining quality, accuracy, and schedule commitments. This is a 1-year contract role. We are hiring for the Denver, CO, Minneapolis, MN or Amarillo, TX offices. You will report to the project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage engineering drawings, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor document workflows to ensure timely reviews, approvals, and responses from project stakeholders.
  • Track document status, deadlines, and action items using OneNote and other project management tools.
  • Manage communications through shared team email inboxes and coordinate responses with project teams and external suppliers.
  • Route documentation to engineers, project managers, and reviewers while following up on overdue approvals.
  • Perform quality reviews and verification of documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain both electronic and physical document libraries.
  • Modify, organize, scan, and distribute PDF documents utilizing Adobe Acrobat Pro, Bluebeam, or similar software.
  • Prepare, print, assemble, package, and ship large-format drawings and project documentation packages.
  • Compile and distribute bound drawing books and document packages for field construction teams.
  • Support project managers and engineering teams by proactively identifying and resolving document control bottlenecks.
  • Assist with general project coordination activities to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a professional administrative, project coordination, document control, or project support environment.
  • Experience managing electronic and physical document libraries.
  • Experience reviewing, organizing, scanning, and processing project documents.
  • Experience working with PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat Pro or Bluebeam.
