Job description

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - SHEET FEEDER

Must be able to work onsite at either Bedford Park, IL, Hanover Park, IL or Milwaukee, WI,

Hours are M-F 9AM-6PM

Manages sales orders from order processing through delivery and any related inquiries or issues for three manufacturing locations that operate as complex. Incumbents utilize the following to achieve results: knowledge of products and manufacturing capabilities, teamwork, effective communication, and problem-solving skills. The position requires an engaged, self-starter that works with general supervision as needed and one who maintains an ongoing commitment to increasing customer satisfaction. Standard procedures are followed to accomplish assigned tasks.

How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock:

  • Serve as a critical communication link between customers and Smurfit Westrock

  • Serve as an intermediary between various departments to execute customer commitments

  • Fosters Customer Relationships

  • Perform data entry functions for order entry and other tasks

  • Complete reports as needed

  • Actively participate in appropriate project teams for operational and system improvement

  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge of industry and manufacturing is a plus. Knowledge of Six Sigma or lean manufacturing process as it relates to customer service is a plus.
