Description

The Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library is seeking an energetic and positive staff member in the Circulation Department at the Willoughby Hills Library branch. ย Excellent benefits: dental, vision, life insurance and retirement pension plan with Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, etc.


Position Summary: Responsible for performing circulation duties that ย include charging, discharging, routing and renewing materials. ย Responsible for providing a high level of customer service with the public and coworkers.ย

Job Type

Part-Time: ย 22 hours/week. ย Varied full day, morning, evening and rotating Friday/Saturday shifts.ย  Occasional Sundays during the school year, September through May. ย 


Salary: $15.21/hour (union position)

Requirements

  • High school diploma.ย 
  • Prior public service and computer experience preferred.ย 
  • Experience with SIRSI or other automated circulation systems preferred.ย 
  • Ability to move items and materials up to 40 pounds.ย 
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending or stooping may be required.ย
