Job Summary:
Sebenza LLC is a woman owned small business operating out of McLean, VA, and they are seeking a Desktop Engineer Level II to support their client in Greensboro, NC. The role involves providing Tier 1 & 2 desktop user support, installing and supporting telecommunications hardware, and performing network troubleshooting among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide Tier 1 & 2 desktop user support
โ€ข Provide support for (Windows 7 & Windows 10) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
โ€ข Perform network printer/Multi-Function Device installs, upgrades & problem diagnosis.
โ€ข Install workstation software and hardware- locally and via remote.
โ€ข Diagnose and resolve LAN configuration problems.
โ€ข Evaluate and diagnose cabling, software, and hardware problems.
โ€ข Install and support of telecommunications hardware.
โ€ข Basic LAN troubleshooting skills/tools โ€“ TCP/IP, Trace-route, NBSTAT, PING, or other duties as assigned
โ€ข Email User support
โ€ข Data backup and restoration
โ€ข Provide technical support for webcast/video teleconferences
โ€ข Security patches and software upgrade surge support
โ€ข Support technology upgrades โ€“ both hardware and software.
