Why Work at Lenovo

We are Lenovo. We do what we say. We own what we do. We WOW our customers.

Lenovo is a US$83 billion revenue global technology powerhouse, ranked #196 in the Fortune Global 500, and serving millions of customers every day in 180 markets. Focused on a bold vision to deliver Smarter Technology for All, Lenovo has built on its success as the world’s largest PC company with a full-stack portfolio of AI-enabled, AI-ready, and AI-optimized devices (PCs, workstations, smartphones, tablets), infrastructure (server, storage, edge, high performance computing and software defined infrastructure), software, solutions, and services. Lenovo’s continued investment in world-changing innovation is building a more equitable, trustworthy, and smarter future for everyone, everywhere. Lenovo is listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange under Lenovo Group Limited (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY).

Lenovo is looking for a trusted Technical Presales Specialist to customers and sales teams across the full sales cycle - from early customer discussions to final solution design. Translate complex customer requirements into the right infrastructure architecture, correctly sized and commercially viable, focused on the customer’s business outcome rather than technology alone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the technical solution design for complex infrastructure opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle, from discovery and sizing to architecture, proposal development, deal support, and successful closure.
  • Translate customer business and technical requirements into scalable, high-performance infrastructure solutions covering compute, storage, networking, and AI where applicable.
  • Design, size, validate, and present solutions based on workload, performance, and commercial requirements, leveraging sizing tools and industry best practices.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, leading technical discussions, product demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and executive presentations up to CIO level.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Services, and Business Partners to develop differentiated, competitive, and profitable solutions that drive pipeline progression and successful deal outcomes.
  • Deliver technical enablement workshops and training for business partners and internal teams, ensuring strong knowledge of the Lenovo Datacenter portfolio, solution design methodologies, and sizing best practices (approximately 50% enablement / 50% customer engagement).
  • Lead the technical response for strategic opportunities, including RFPs, technical proposals, competitive positioning, and presentations, driving technical differentiation and supporting forecast accuracy and shared sales targets.

What You Bring

  • Experience in IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking, ideally with exposure to AI and high-performance computing workloads.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a systems integrator, vendor, or comparable IT environment, with a proven track record in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical advisory roles.
  • Strong technical foundation in data center technologies with the ability to design and size infrastructure solutions based on workload, performance, scalability, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Passion for technology and technical sales, with the curiosity to continuously expand both deep technical expertise and broad solution knowledge.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, audience-appropriate messages for customers, partners, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging in technical discussions at both expert and senior management levels.
  • Structured and self-driven working style, with the ability to manage multiple complex opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment with a global technology leader that combines the mindset of a fast-moving start-up with the strength and scale of a worldwide organization.
  • A collaborative, people-focused culture where teamwork, knowledge sharing, mutual support, and open communication are at the heart of how we work.
  • Excellent professional and personal development opportunities, including mentoring, coaching, continuous learning platforms, and international career paths across Europe and beyond.
  • A modern work environment with flat hierarchies, fast decision-making, flexible working models (country dependent), and competitive compensation including performance-based incentives.
