The Opportunity
As Founding Growth Lead at Legion Health, you'll play a critical role in scaling a category-defining, AI-native psychiatry clinic at a moment of rapid expansion. You'll own and evolve the systems that drive patient acquisition, activation, and retention-directly impacting how millions of people access fast, affordable, insurance-covered mental health care. This role sits at the intersection of growth, product, analytics, and operations, giving you real leverage to shape both the business and the patient experience as Legion Health scales from a strong Texas beachhead to a national platform.
โ€ข Responsibilities and Deliverables
  • Designing and executing Legion Health's growth roadmap, prioritizing experiments with the highest potential impact across acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • Owning multi-channel growth execution, including performance marketing (Google, Meta), paid + organic social, healthcare directories (Zocdoc, Psychology Today), lifecycle messaging (email, SMS), referrals, partnerships, SEO, and content.
  • Running rigorous analytics and experimentation, using PostHog and SQL-friendly tools to analyze funnels, define success metrics, and run A/B tests across channels and product surfaces.
  • Improving conversion and patient experience, optimizing landing pages, onboarding flows, scheduling, and lifecycle touchpoints.
  • Turning insights into action, synthesizing data, user interviews, and qualitative feedback into clear, prioritized growth decisions.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and clinical operations to remove friction while maintaining regulatory compliance and care quality.
  • Building scalable playbooks for growth channels that can be repeated, expanded, and eventually handed off as the company scales.

You'll Be Successful If You...
  • Consistently identify and ship experiments that meaningfully improve patient acquisition, activation, and retention metrics.
  • Build a clear, data-driven understanding of Legion Health's growth funnels and use it to prioritize ruthlessly and move fast.
  • Turn ambiguous problems into structured experiments and deliver measurable results.
  • Improve conversion across key patient journeys (landing โ†’ booking โ†’ first visit โ†’ retention).
  • Earn trust across teams by pairing strong analytical thinking with excellent communication and execution.
  • Help Legion Health scale growth systems that are both high-impact and operationally sound in a regulated healthcare environment.

Ideal Background and Skills
  • 2-5+ years of experience in growth, consulting, product strategy, marketing, or a similar operator role.
  • Hands-on experience owning or contributing meaningfully to multiple acquisition channels (paid social, SEM, directories, lifecycle comms, referrals, partnerships, SEO, etc.).
  • Strong analytical ability, including funnel analysis, experimentation design, and data storytelling, ideally using tools like PostHog and basic SQL.
  • A track record of moving quickly in ambiguous environments, prioritizing effectively, and learning through execution.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and a high bar for quality.
  • A strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving startup.
  • Bonus points for experience in digital health, consumer growth, consulting (MBB), or regulated environments (HIPAA, healthcare advertising).
