Job description

Company Description

The Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence (MSCFV), established in 1980, is a long-standing advocate and support organization for individuals experiencing domestic violence across Maryland’s eastern shore. MSCFV provides free, comprehensive services including legal assistance, counseling, access to a food pantry, clothing, and individualized support to help clients move from crisis toward stable, safer futures. The organization responds to over 600 hotline calls annually, reflecting the strong and growing need for accessible, trauma-informed services. MSCFV uses innovative GIS mapping technology through the Chesapeake Crisis to Self Sufficiency Model to help clients identify safe, affordable housing near employment, transportation, and essential resources. Through collaboration, technology, and compassionate advocacy, MSCFV works to foster safety, empowerment, and resilience for individuals and families seeking lives free from violence and fear.

  • Experience providing advocacy and support to survivors navigating the legal system, including family law, protective orders, criminal justice, or related legal matters.
  • Experience working collaboratively with attorneys, courts, law enforcement, prosecutors, and other community partners.
  • Previous supervisory, lead, or team coordination experience preferred.
