Client Overview:
Our client is a renowned company in the legal industry and is seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$100k - $110k
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our client's esteemed litigation firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal secretarial work, particularly in commercial litigation, and will be responsible for a variety of administrative and case management tasks to support attorneys and maintain efficient office operations.
Responsibilities of the Legal Secretary:
  • Summarize legal cases and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Conduct research and investigations as needed to support casework.
  • Create, prepare, and file documents for court proceedings.
  • Expertly manage and organize legal documents and case files.
  • Assist in trial preparation for commercial litigation, including assembling exhibits and maintaining trial binders.
  • Maintain and manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and schedules.
Required Experience/Skills for the Legal Secretary:
  • Minimum of 4 years of legal secretary experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Legal Secretary:
  • Experience in commercial litigation support.
  • Prior paralegal experience is a plus.
Education Requirements:
  • A college degree is preferred.
