Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our San Francisco, California office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys working collaboratively with attorneys and staff in a respected national law firm.

Our San Francisco attorneys focus primarily on litigation defense, insurance coverage, personal injury, professional liability, and product liability matters. This position will be fully on site in our San Francisco office in Walnut Creek.

What You'll Do
  • Manage multiple attorneys' calendars, including scheduling meetings, court appearances, and appointments
  • Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, including pleadings, interrogatories, motions, discovery, and correspondence
  • Create and update Tables of Contents (TOCs) and Tables of Authorities (TOAs)
  • E-file documents in state and federal courts
  • Coordinate communications with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors
  • Support attorneys with administrative and case management tasks in a high-volume litigation practice
What We're Looking For
  • 3-4 years of experience as a legal secretary supporting attorneys
  • Experience with state and federal court filings
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures and legal terminology
