Overview:

We are partnering with a respected law firm to identify a Pre-Litigation Case Manager to manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury claims from inception through resolution. This position is ideal for an organized, client-focused legal professional with personal injury experience who can independently manage multiple cases while providing exceptional client service. The Pre-Litigation Case Manager will work closely with attorneys, clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other external parties to ensure claims progress efficiently toward resolution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize 120+ personal injury cases from inception through resolution.
  • Provide comprehensive support to clients navigating bodily injury and property damage claims.
  • Conduct monthly client calls to gather treatment updates, address concerns, and monitor medical treatment progress.
  • Identify and prioritize cases at various stages of the claims process to ensure timely resolution.
  • Establish, maintain, and follow up on insurance claims while ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, healthcare providers, insurance adjusters, and other external parties.
  • Identify potential claim issues and collaborate with managers and attorneys to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Request, organize, review, and summarize medical records to support case development.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive settlement packages and demands to insurance companies.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure files remain organized and up to date.
  • Complete documentation and financial disbursement processes with a high level of accuracy.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, attorneys, medical providers, insurance representatives, and other parties involved in each claim.


What They're Looking For:

  • 1โ€“3 years of experience working in a personal injury law firm as a Case Manager, Paralegal, or similar legal role.
  • Prior legal experience is required, ideally with experience managing a high-volume litigation or pre-litigation caseload.
  • Demonstrated experience managing 120+ active personal injury cases is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of personal injury claims and pre-litigation processes.
  • Excellent client service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to de-escalate and resolve client concerns.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and internal teams.
  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Spanish fluency, including verbal and written communication, is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management systems.
